En 2008 et après la trilogie à succès ''Western dream'', "Soundz of freedom'' et "Born in 69'', Bob Sinclar décide de quitter la routine parisienne et part à Los Angeles, puis en Jamaïque pour réenregistrer tous ses singles avec Sly & Robby en versions dub. Après une récréation festive avec Colonel Reyel (single que l' on retrouve dans sa version anglaise sur ce nouvel opus), Bob invite Pitbull et présente ''Rock the boat'' ,extrait annonciateur d'un album 100 % club. Un vrai retour aux sources : le disco, du nom de l'album ''Disco crash'' - n'est pas loin, même si c'est une version new millenium que Bob Sinclar propose tout au long de son album.
